It is that time again for the Stutz Open House. Or as it now known The Raymond James Stutz Open House! I have $4 off coupons in my studio so stop by and grab a few for you and your friends. $10 advance tickets at Old National and $12 at the door.

Don't forget Open Studios on 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month. Bring yourbeverage of choice and paint! Summer is over and the Fall is upon us. I can't believe I am already focusing on the holidays! So much going on between now and Christmas. Make sure you sign up for classes or create your own group. The schedule is filling fast. A painting by you makes a great treasured gift to others! Email me for details... jmknight77@aol.com

Upcoming events you don't want to miss:
Nov 13th Friday 5-9pm at The Great Frame Up (86th & Ditch Rd) I will be showing my work there for the month. Be sure to catch the opening on the 13th for my latest work and some drinks and snacks.

Nov 20th Friday 5-9 The Stutz Holiday Event! This is the holiday show we put on at the Stutz each year. You can see over 30 artists in one place. We have special passes to be escorted by the artist to their studio. Be sure to join me for this festive event.

Dec 5th Saturday 1-5pm 2-D Holiday Open House- Join me and my floor mates Susan Hazer (Jeweler) and others for a holiday gift show. We are opening our floor for artsy gift buying. I may set up a class to do a mall painting that day as well. Be sure to watch for details! It is a great opportunity to pick up the gifft for that hard to buy for person while supporting your local artists!

Again, classes are available. Currently on schedule is a Winter scene at Cermaic Dreams on a plate (11/30) and Sunflowers on canvas board at Ceramic Dreams (TBD). Don't forget to add me to your facebook friends to stay on top of current events.

Can you believe it is almost September? Where is the time going?
It has been a very busy summer and I'm hoping for a busy Fall!

Great news! I have been accepted to show some work for the next 90 days at the gallery in Flytraps Arts and Antiques in Elkhart, IN. This is a great place to view art, shop, have cocktails or dinner. If you are in the area be sure to look them up and check out my work. It is a beautiful gallery and the food is awesome! Say HI! to Francie and tell her I sent you!

Aug 20th - Tuscan Window Box class at Ceramic Dreams. Be sure to preregister at Ceramic Dreams to lock in your spot. $40 per person and you will be painting two 8x10s.

I am still working on a few new shows in the fall soI will keep you posted. The FINDING 2-D show Aug 7th was a huge success! Thanks to all who particpated.

The Open House is over! Thanks to everyone for making it a HUGE success. Don't forget First Friday this Friday May 1st!

Next up is the 54th and Monon Art Fair. I am still working on getting a booth for the fair. If not, you can find me at Ceramic Dreams in the 54th and Monon Shops.

May 14th is my Tuscan Poppies class on canvas at Ceramic Dreams. $40 per person for two 8x10 canvas boards. You must preregister at CeramicDreams.com

June 11th 6:30-8:30 pm at Stutz Art Space - Tuscan Poppies. $40 per person and you must pre-register at stutzartists.com
June 13th 10am -12pm at Stutz Art Space - Tuscan Poppies. $40 per person and you must pre-register at stutzartists.com This class is geared more towards kids 8 and up.

Remember you can schedule a class at any time by emailing me the dates and number of people in your party. If you are interested in doing a class on ceramics email me with dates and number of participants and we can schedule at Ceramic Dreams. I must have at least 5 people for the class and price will depend on the plate you choose. The Sushi plate is $45 for the class, the Appetizer plate is $60 for the class. (will get pics for site)
